Description

A glorious day by the seaside at Dawlish, Devon during the summer of 1958 is witness to the majestic passage of a Great Western Railway ‘King’ class 4-6-0 No.6023 ‘King Edward II’ in charge of the London bound ‘Cornish Riviera Express’. The train is emerging from Kennaway tunnel, below Lea Mount, to continue its stately progress along the promenade.
