Description
An unusually busy moment at Crediton station a few miles north-west of Exeter during the mid 1950s as a Southern Region N class 2-6-0 No.31846 heads west with a van train about to pass a West Country Pacific No.34002 ‘Salisbury’ in charge of a London, Waterloo express.
The station is still largely intact with the main building, seen here on the right, in use as tea rooms under the care of the Friends of Credition Station.
