"Born 22nd June 1944 Hednesford, Staffordshire. I was a signwriter by profession for 50 years and am a self-taught artist who has to wait for inspiration (lazy), I work mainly in oils (but sometimes naked to deter visitors!)
I live in France for most of the year."

Iron Duke
Great Western Railway locomotive Iron Duke - Withdrawn in 1892.
Iron Duke was one of the last locomotives to work the broad gauge main line.
Lode Star
Lode Star is the sole surviving GWR 4000 Class locomotive and can be seen at the National Railway Museum.
Designed by George Jackson Churchward, she was completed in 1907 and withdrawn in 1951, it was one of the first Star class to be built.

Edwardian 4-6-2s. CC 680 - built North British Locomotive Company in Glasgow 1905.
