"Born 22nd June 1944 Hednesford, Staffordshire. I was a signwriter by profession for 50 years and am a self-taught artist who has to wait for inspiration (lazy), I work mainly in oils (but sometimes naked to deter visitors!) I live in France for most of the year."
Anthony joined The Guild of Railway Artists as an Associate Member in 2011.

Great Western Railway locomotive Iron Duke - Withdrawn in 1892.
Iron Duke was one of the last locomotives to work the broad gauge main line.
Lode Star is the sole surviving GWR 4000 Class locomotive and can be seen at the National Railway Museum.
