The cab road alongside platform 2 of Edinburgh Princes Street station circa 1935. Passengers arriving on a train from the English capital are greeted by a host of friends, associates, porters and chauffeurs.
The locomotive is a Pickersgill class 72 'Dunalastair', built by the Caledonian Railway.
In the foreground is an Aston Martin 'Lagonda'.
Edinburgh Princes Street station closed in September 1965.
