Tony started painting in watercolours in 1998 and divide
his time between this and freelance design.
Tony states "I have been interested in railways since
a small boy when I lived alongside the North London line
in Hackney. The move to a small village in Kent near
Faversham brought me in contact with the ex-LCDR main
line to Dover and Ramsgate. After 1968 my interest took
me abroad throughout Europe whilst at home the industrial
subjects replaced BR steam".
Tony has had several articles published in various railway
magazines. Whilst his main medium is oils he also works
in pencil, etching and silk screen printing.
