Mike Booth

Mike Booth was born in Manchester where he also received an education, much of it at the Stretford End and some at the College of Art.
Having decided not to become a studio potter, professional footballer or international playboy, Mike spent 27 years as an art teacher in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire before taking early retirement in 1992 to concentrate on painting and poverty. He is still involved in adult education in the Mansfield area.
